The British kempo Ju-Jitsu Federation and its members are committed to assisting individuals, clubs and associations to achieve the level of excellence that they are searching for. To that end we encourage clubs to maintain their own identity, grading syllabus etc.
What we offer is the opportunity for you to be associated with some of the larger associations in the United Kingdom.
Upon satisfactory entry into the British Kempo Ju-Jitsu Federation you will be able to contact senior graded instructors for help, guidance, advice, grade ratification, attendance at grading sessions and courses. It must be noted however that these are not prerequisites for membership, purely services that are available to you should you require them.
Our insurance services available to you are of excellent quality and are designed to meet the needs of federation members, as well as fulfilling the requirements as stated by the NCVQ (National Vocational Qualification Body). On that note, we are able to offer a coach education programme, which also meets the NCVQ requirements.
Finally, we are available to offer various levels of membership and insurance at very attractive rates, with the maximum full membership fee being inclusive of licence book and member to member insurance cover.
The aim of the british Kempo Ju-Jitsu Federation is to unite Kempo and Ju-Jitsu related arts throughout Great Britain.

- Access to Senior instructors who are trained in Kempo, Ju-Jitsu, Karate, Aikido,Judo, Thai Boxing, Kick Boxing, Kendo, Iiado, Ken-Jutsu, Tae Kwon Do and Wing Chun, Tang Soo Do, Gung Fu and all Budo Disciplines.
- Chief Instructors may grade up to two levels below their own grade.
- Senior Instructors will be graded in their own system or style.
- Persons of Senior Grade have the option of being graded by senior BKJJF officialsor any senior graded person, provided that the grade is recognsed by the BKJJF and that the grading officer is at least two grades more senior to the gradee.
- Instructors Public Liability insurance with cover up to £1,000,000
- Professional Indemnity cover up to £5,000,000
- Student Accident insurance cover.
- All BKJJF members receive a full licence and membership, including licence book.
